Fungi are a mystery, so great that it is the kingdom that hosts dífferent genres and tittíe known so far, with great impact for both human development and the same deterioration of health. México has an enormous diversity of natural resources such as medicinal plants. Justicia spicigera has an efhnobotanical background against conditions such as anemia, blood pressure and urinary problems, among others. Pharmacologically, the exfract of Justice has been proven antibacterial, antiprotozoai and antifungal activity. Taking into account this iast property, as well as fhe increase of fungal diseases and the bioavailbility of this plant, we consider the imporfance of continuing with the study of spicigera Justice that allows to determine its activity against differenf species of fungi of medical importance.
